It's all about the Arm Candy

Happy Friday Accessory Lovers,

 Let's first be thankful another work week is over ( atleast for some of us) and its FRIDAY! For some reason, Friday always brings happy spirit's out of everyone, especially when we have perfect weather. As we prepare for our weekend festivities I know our main concern is what will we wear. Quick stops to the mall or local boutiques is always included in the plans. Either we are looking for outfit attire or some accessories to give our outfits a " pick me up"!

For the past month, I have been using accessories to give my outfits a "pick me up". Not just any type of accessories either, but lately I have been into the whole "Arm Candy" trend. While I am usually a "necklace" girl, I am slowly changing over to bracelets. It's something about loads of different colors and textures piled on my wrist that I LOVE.

Like many fashionistas out there, we love to keep in mind of the latest Trends. With Fall in full effect, I'm sure many of you are shopping and adding to your fall wardrobe. Let's take a look at some Accessory Fall Trends to help you along on your shopping endeavors!

If you're an "oversize handbag" girl like Simone and I, you will love this trend! It's so stylish and can also be your statement piece for your outfit.

The Statement Gloves
With the chilly weather coming through, stay warm and chic all at once! Statement gloves can turn up your look from plain to ultra chic.

Opera Gloves: Long length gloves that may extend to the elbow. This style is also a very popular trend this season. It's for the classy and elegant look!

The Fur Handbags
What more screams Fall then fur? Fur Handbags will be rocking the streets this fall. Will you be sporting this trend?

FALL CHALLENGE

Fall is the perfect time to experiment and let yourself be free. Ever look through the magazines for fall and get the inspiration to try a different look, to change your style and than do nothing. You stick to the same colors you did last fall, the same patterns, the same style and just glance at everyone who hasn't? Well this year take the CHALLENGE to experiment this fall. Alyse and I suggestions to you are to take out a notepad when you are going through magazines and write down the new things you want to try this fall, whether it be new color nail polishes, patterned stockings, color blocking... Just write down this way when you are out shopping you are reminded that you are on a CHALLENGE. Once you have decided what you are going to try new please share it with us!

My Challenge this fall is to try different color nail polishes.. Lately my " go to" polish has been OPI " You don't know Jacques", I love this polish but it's time for a change.

For Alyse, she really wanted to get into color blocking during the summer, Inspiration was there but this season, she's going into color blocking with a full force. To help her stick to her challenge, she has chosen a Fall Necklace, which will be her "go to", it's also a statement piece that works well with casual or dressy looks.

09/24 Super Glam Beauty and Shopping Event

On Saturday, we had the opportunity to partner with blogger Melissa Flores from Superglamnews.com for a beauty and shopping event. We offered all of our guest who were the first 25 to RSVP and attend a gift bag filled with a variety of goodies. All guest who attended were also treated to complimentary manicures by Nomora ( http://livelifeasuch.blogspot.com) and mini make-overs by MUA Stephanie Savino. The event was so much fun as ladies mingled, sipped cocktails and enjoyed the day to get "beautified"... Check out the pictures from Saturday.
